Veneration

Muhammad Ammad Aziz

 She lauded,

"For my part, I prefer my heart to be broken. It is so lovely, dawn-kaleidoscopic within the crack."

It was felt with another blow. His heart was beating differently for the third consecutive day. He felt weak like old times reminiscing their much-anticipated memories. "Too good to be true," they would always argue. It all started with remembering dates of seldom great memories to making them every day until dates did not matter anymore. The way their bond worked was phenomenal and not an inch of misery could engulf their always-euphoric world. Observing this world with a critical watch was a practice in futile and this was the very reason for many oxytocins released each day until one day...

... when a change of heart took place. It was as quick as if the weather had the mood swing - Too abrupt to notice the blow.

Her perspective had spoken volumes of how this is the new normal for her. In that euphoric world, he felt alone, broken, and sinking in an abyss for the first time in ages. It was supposed to be their destiny but one decision shook every dream off. The future that he could imagine each day, dreaded him for what it was worth.

Yesterday, she applauds D. H. Lawrence for relatability that how for her part she "...prefer(s) (her) heart to be broken. It is so lovely, dawn kaleidoscopic within the crack."

He has been realistic most of his life, but this abstract pulled him back to ponder on similar terms.

HOW?

It is the life that lies within that crack. If not life then something exponentially sacred that it is not supposed to be seen, observed, or experimented with. Lauding that crack reminded me of nothing but the greed to get all the golden eggs. We know how it ends.

There is a difference between a broken heart and a crack.

One can be peeked into and leaves a scar once recovered. A broken heart is a shattered glass - hardly gets recovered but never returns to its shape. (The latter is an unpure and highly filtered form that is not to be experienced by anyone.)

The lovely, dawn-kaleidoscopic, magical place inside the crack is exposed. That... should not be the fate of any sacred.
